Mr. Ducharme has more than thirty years of construction experience in the New England area and over twenty-eight years in a full charge capacity with E. Turgeon. After graduation from URI, he was employed by Johns Manville as a Sales Engineer. Subsequently, he joined The Carlson Corporation in Cochituate, Massachusetts as a Sales Planner – responsible for estimating, proposals, scheduling and cost control for many commercial and industrial projects throughout New England. In 1973, Mr. Ducharme became Vice President of Construction Operations for E. Turgeon. In 1976, Mr. Ducharme became President and CEO at the retirement of Edward Turgeon.Mr. Ducharme has been instrumental in implementing a wide range of computer systems for accounting, estimating, job site cost reporting and scheduling. Responsibilities include job cost analysis, value engineering and contract administration on projects ranging from schools, hi-rise housing and industrial facilities to historic rehab-commercial office spaces.
